House rules.
For both of you.
zZuP! gives you a mask, and masks only work if everyone agrees not to weaponize them. These rules apply to both of your identities — your pet is not a loophole, it's a second face on the same person. Violations carry the same consequences no matter which self commits them.
Be someone worth meeting
Every stranger on zZuP! is a potential friend who hasn't decided yet. Talk to people the way you'd want your pet to be talked to. Weird is welcome. Cruel is not.
Anonymity is not armor
- Whatever your pet says, you said. Harassment as a pet is harassment.
- Don't use pet identities to evade blocks, dodge consequences, or restart conversations someone ended.
- Don't try to unmask other users — no guessing games in public, no cross-referencing, no "I know who you are" pressure.
Zero tolerance
These get you removed immediately, and reported to authorities where applicable:
- Any sexual content involving minors;
- Credible threats of violence, or encouraging self-harm;
- Doxxing — publishing someone's private information (address, schedule, real identity behind a pet) without consent;
- Sexual harassment, including unsolicited sexual content;
- Human trafficking, exploitation, or solicitation of illegal goods and services.
Don't be a bot with extra steps
- No spam, chain messages, pyramid anything, or mass friend requests;
- No fake accounts, ID farming, or engagement manipulation;
- No unauthorized advertising or promotion — if you want to run a campus campaign, email campus@zzup.app instead of spamming feeds.
Respect the campus
- Don't impersonate universities, clubs, professors, or other students;
- Campus-verified spaces exist so students can speak freely — don't screenshot-and-shame content from them;
- Verification fraud (fake enrollment documents) ends your account.
When conversations end, let them end
zZuP! is built around consent: friend buttons that only light up after real conversation, a switch that silences strangers entirely, blocks that work per-identity. Respect the machinery. If someone doesn't reply, blocks your pet, or declines your friend request — that's an answer. Accept it.
Reporting and enforcement
- Report any post, message, or user in-app, or email safety@zzup.app. Reports are confidential; messages are retained on our side so evidence can't be deleted out from under you.
- Enforcement is proportional: warning → content removal → feature limits → suspension → termination. Zero-tolerance violations skip straight to the end.
- Wrongly actioned? Appeal at appeals@zzup.app.
- False reporting to harass someone is itself a violation.
If someone is in danger
If you believe someone is at immediate risk of harming themselves or others, contact local emergency services first — then report to us. Your pet is a companion, not a crisis line, and neither are we.
